I have been a nurse for 7 years now, I've come to know and love pediatric care in the last 3 years. I'm a dependable healthcare team member with sound judgment, excellent clinical abilities and smooth bedside manner. As a travel nurse from Mississippi, I came to South Carolina from Omaha, Nebraska, for a 4 week contract to help evacuate patients from Heartland rehabilitation center to Columbia for hurricane Dorian in 2019. Since then I have found a home in Charleston. I can learn any charting systems such as Epic, Matrix, Kantime, LTC, Point Click Care, EHR and have mastered all the ways to chart vitals and other markers to help patients, support team treatment goals and boost outcomes. Although, most of my nursing career has been based on giving care in Long Term Care facilities, I've come to love pediatrics and have an exceptional approach in pediatric patient support. I am very seasoned and I have absorbed so many things through my nursing experiences that I use in my day to day life. I love to smile, I am passionate.
