Responsible for developing a career ladder for the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This will include developing and implementing a training plan and completing the Train-the-Trainer course to be able to facilitate the trainings
Responsible for serving as the back-up to the Training Manager when needed.
Responsible for overseeing and facilitating individualized training for each participant receiving services from SCS. This includes working closely with the Program Coordinators and Schedulers to develop a system to ensure that the agency achieves and maintains 100% compliance with the individualized training as defined by DDA.
Must be certified to teach all agency required training. This includes but is not limited to; MANDT and CPR/FA.
Responsible for registration for staff trainings outside of the agency.
Maintain records of all employment staff trainings, certifications and continuing education credits
Required to be on the regular training calendar to facilitate training for new hires and current staff recertification's.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the database for the individualized training as well as the DSP career ladder training.
