Protected team members and building users from harm by adhering to strict asbestos remediation procedures when locating, removing and sealing off old insulation.
Performed thorough site evaluations prior to beginning installations, identifying potential problems. Which were communicated with other trades such as Framers, Plumbers, Pipe Fitters, HVAC installers or the General Contractor.
Applied, removed and repaired insulation on industrial equipment, pipes or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, boiler rooms, mechanical rooms and steam lines to control noise and maintain temperatures.
Completed projects on time by effectively coordinating with team members and adhering to project schedules.
Ensured compliance with blueprints, specifications and industry standards during the execution of each project.
Performed accurate material takeoffs, enabling efficient working hours while on the clock.
Insulate domestic water lines, HVAC systems, roof drain, grease duct, heated and chilled steel pipe, Exhaust pipes from small and large generators, rooftop HVAC units and steam lines.
Installed Aluminum/Stainless steel sheet metal with screws or PVC jacketing with glue in order to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage.
Unloaded Material on the job. keeping it all organized and easy to find.
Keeping a clean workspace and cleaned up garbage at the end of every day.
