• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Troubleshoot problems that arise during operation of machinery.
• Provide input on improving productivity through better setup techniques or improved tooling designs.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance purposes.

Quality Duties

• Inspection support for the team members when setting up production runs.
• Quality Inspection surveillance of ongoing production
• Use of inspection equipment to perform above tasks (such as mic, caliper, optical comparator, & CMM).

Machinist Duties

• Operate and maintain Citizen Swiss Machines
• Machine parts to company specifications, perform measurements, visual checks & exam results for defects to ensure conformance.
• Maintain quality & safety standards, check products and record measurements.
