  • As a Lead Public Safety Communications Specialist, I am responsible for leading other Public Safety Communications Specialists while providing law enforcement communications support for the USMS; ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and reviews the work to ensure quality results
  • As a lead, we are to be coaches, mentors, and trainers for the Public Safety Communications Specialists to manage and improve the overall performance in the Comm
  • Center along with overseeing the Daily Operations
  • The Lead balances the workload among the other Public Safety Communications Specialists along with planning, scheduling, and assigning work; training new employees; monitors and evaluates work in progress on the assigned shifts
  • The Lead reports to the Comm
  • Center Supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, training needs, etc
