After moving from New York I worked in the hospital setting on OB, Nursery, NICU and Pediatrics.

Throughout my years in the hospital setting I worked in team nursing and primary care. I held positions team leader, preceptor, charge nurse and floor nurse. I worked in Med/Surg, SICU, Nursery, OB, Orthopedics, ER, triage and Pediatrics. I served on the negotiating committee for NYSNA for 4 years and negotiated for 2 contacts. In 1990 I was proudly honored with an award as Nurse of Distinction.
