Decorating

I have always enjoyed researching ideas to make my house a welcoming home. Exploring new colors and textures to make our home pleasurable to look at and live in. I feel a sense of pride when repurposing items as well. Instead of replacing a piece of furniture it can be transformed by painting and updating hardware. Friends and family have inspired me with their ideas and encouragement! They have often joked with me wondering what my next project is going to be. Decorating inside my home has always been a pleasure as well as decorating the exterior. Building pergolas, shutters, and hardscapes has been a hobby my husband and I can do together. I think I inherited this passion from my mom! She designed and then built a loft for my dorm room at the University of Toledo. She inspired my creativity, always looking how to make something better.
