As a laborer with the city water department, I maintained water lines throughout the city as well as sewer lines to residents of the city. I would repair damaged water lines and sewer lines as well as any issues residents had with water and sewer issues on the city side of the property.

• Conducted routine inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Performed preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Diagnosed mechanical issues and implemented timely repairs, minimizing downtime across campus facilities.

• Perform maintenance throughout the city doing carpentry plumbing and painting on city owned facilities, parks, police and fire stations.

• Repaired damaged homes after hurricane Harvey. Repairs included hanging drywall, mudding, and painting, laying tile and installing flooring.

• I inspected satellite component parts in accordance to the blueprints and specs provided by the customers. I was the section lead in my department for four years. My duties as section lead included training new employees as well as making assessment calls on parts that were not conformed to the specs provided by the customers. Discarded and rejected product, material and equipment that did not meet specifications. Determined adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required based on blueprints. Presented clear, organized data in graphs, charts, and written reports.
