I coached kids from a range of 7-11 year olds. My time was spent on teaching them the game and helping them see patterns when they were on the floor.

Utilized excellent judgment skills when determining close plays at bases or home plate, leading to more accurate rulings on the field. Communicated with fans, coaches, players, and other umpires. Explained and taught regulations and rules to players and coaches. Promoted good sportsmanship among players.

I refereed for kids that were pretty young. Whenever they would travel or foul I made it into a learning moment so I can help them grow in the game as well as their coach.

This organization builds beds for families in need of them. During my time volunteering here I helped sand and drill boards for the most part.
