I have extensive experience with English Language Learners as I was involved in the Newcomers' Program and the past two years I was charged with the responsibility of running the LIFE Program; a substantially separate program for intellectually impaired and medically fragile students. Through teamwork and flexibility we were able to push more students into an inclusion setting, we offered specials from general education teachers and re-worked the schedule in order to provide the students a more well rounded education.
