Summary

As someone who has trained, worked, studied and taught Biological and Chemical Science for several decades, I decided I wanted to do more to Change the World. Disease, War and the COVID-19 pandemic made the world see the importance of Public Health. So I made the decision to get a Master's degree in Global Public Health(MPH), from the University of Illinois. My intended field of study will be with an emphasis on Health care for communities of Color. As a weekly patient of Grifols for the past several months, I have first hand knowledge of the life-changing effects of Plasma donations. After researching Grifols, I learned and have a greater understanding of all the extraordinary things that are being done with Plasma . I believe that being Plasma Processor for a truly innovative Global Health care company, like Grifols, at the local level, would be the perfect way in which to start a career in Global Public Health.
