You maybe questioning why im appling to be a journeyman lineman. Im 45 years old and have made it as high as I would like to climb in my company. im not interested in climbing the corporate ladder, I could work twenty two more years and then I will retire and move to Florida, I have decided to move now. It is much nicer than Indiana.

Last year i was a role model in my performance review, my culture scores are the highest of any DSS in I&M. Everyone of my lineman work equal overtime for the first time in my twenty years at AEP, we just accomplished three years no oshas, unfortunately we had a six month apprentice wreck a truck last year.

If you would consider me for a journeyman's position and be willing to helping me pursue this transition. I would be grateful. Please give me a call.

Distribution System Supervisor

  • Oversee daily operations and reliability of the distribution system. Manage twenty four employees, of those being three line crew supervisors, nine Line servicers, and twelve Journeyman lineman and apprentices.
  • Coordinate between other organizational groups including engineering, Grid Modernization, Meter department, stores, Fleet, and project management, to ensure Safety for everyone, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Run storm operations with outages from 5,000 to 250,000 plus customer outages.
  • Culture committee organizer.
  • Grand Central Safety committee member. My duties include meeting with all AEP regions, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, Shreveport, Swepco and Kentucky.

  • Voltages worked 4KV, 7200, Wye system. have been trained in 34,500 but little field experience. Have worked Delta but only on storms not a strong suite, but can learn.
