As a day camp councelor in Bais Rivka Day Camp, I worked with the second grade girls, we had a lot of different responsibilities. First we come in and greet the campers as each child arives, ensuring them that they are welcomed and happy .

We taught them shiur and strengthened them in kriah for the coming year.

Above al else safety is number one, making sure we know where campers are at all times and creating a loving and safe environment for each camper. A physically safe environment and emotionally safe, making sure all campers are treating each other kindly .

I worked as the the judaic studies Teacher, teaching keriah and kesiva. making sure the students have accurecy in both areas.

In addition we learned parsha, yomei depagra and halacha.

Ensuring every child shines and feels proud of there accomplishments.

When we had Chassidishe holidays we created plays and dances to present to the rest of the school!

Directing a day camp in a overnight camp for the children of the staff of camp.

We focused on establishing a strong knowledge of the aleph-bet and learnt the nekudot.

We experinced bringing the yomim tovim and parsha to life by acting out the stories in class with costumes and props.

Our First Grade class was really fun, on zoom , we learned writing and reading techniques through books, games and spelling quizzes.

Math was fun as well with games and workbooks each girl had a book in front of her in their house and we would review the work together to make sure the work was correctly done.

The students learned multiplication and subtraction in a fun and interactive way with games and riddles.

As I come in I welcome the students in each day with a smile and see to take care of any needs they have.

When the class was split into groups i would take a group and do different learning activities with them. It can be from reviewing the Aleph-Bet games, math or making fun projects.
