What I really hope to do is meet in person. I stopped in briefly today and spoke with a couple lovely ladies who gave me your email. I simply have too much life experience to put in a resume and still keep it interesting for you. I have been in leadership development for over 30 years and used it to start and run Non-Profit companies, for profit enterprises and help friends start and develop their own companies. My love is helping people succeed and developing companies, with and without compensation. I do not want to come off as arrogant, but when I am given new opportunities, I usually perform well. At 16 I worked at a hardware store and both owners thought it ok to leave me in charge handling everything from the salesman to product ordering while they and their families went on vacation. I worked for a lawn sprinkler company after that and they made me assistant foreman my 2nd day. Two weeks later, I was made foreman and ran a crew of people who had been working full time for over 2 years with that company. I worked metal fabrication and production for 12 years total and they wanted me to take over. I loved them like family, but desired something more. Worked at industrial lift truck company and after 3 months they asked if I had a desire to be branch manager. Stayed in customer service instead for 2 years and then became a Mortgage Officer with Pacific Guarantee Mortgage which later was teamed up with Top Flite Financial. My then wife and I became #1 in the country for the All In One mortgage, having no financial background or licensing before. Then began my Non-Profit company to do what I feel called to do. Still being mentored by 2 of the top Leadership Developers according to Inc. Magazine. I know I can be a valuable Team Leader or just a player for now to get my foot in the door! I love bottom up learning and feel it really is the best way to learn what needs to be improved and what needs to be left alone.
I am still a licensed Loan Officer and Insurance Agent. Keeping those licenses is important to me to add value to my Non-Profit company, Pray It Forward. In order to help people in all areas including Faith, Family, Freedom, Friends, Fitness, Finances, Following and Fun...I keep my certifications current. I do the work in the evenings as it is my calling to help as many as I can.
