• Own and regularly operate a 4 x 2 ft 3-axis CNC machine for personal projects, prototyping, and learning.
• Use Autodesk Fusion 360 and VCarve Pro for CAD/CAM and Centroid CNC12 / Acorn for machine control.
• Set up workpieces, establish work zero, select tooling, prepare toolpaths, and execute machining operations.
• Adjust tooling, feeds, speeds, depth of cut, number of passes, and machining strategies based on material, geometry, and observed cutting conditions.
• Troubleshoot toolpaths, workholding, cutting conditions, and machine behavior when issues arise.

• Help customers around the world select and configure CNC machines based on their applications, materials, production needs, and machine requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, CNC control, software, and machine-operation issues with customers.
• Assist with machine setup and issues involving motion systems, spindles, tooling, workholding, controls, and related equipment.
• Support a broad customer base ranging from individual machine owners and commercial manufacturers to federal agencies, government contractors, and defense-sector customers.
• Prepare quotes, invoices, purchase orders, warranty documentation, and other customer and order-related paperwork.
• Handle new vendor setups and work with customers through purchasing, payment, and documentation requirements.
• Support customers before and after the sale, combining CNC technical support, equipment sales, troubleshooting, and order management in one role.

• Developed a modular hardware product line from early concepts and prototypes through production.
• Designed CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components, including parts designed around 3- to 5-axis machining based on geometry and manufacturing requirements.
• Created 3D CAD models, drawings, tolerances, and production information for outside manufacturers.
• Worked directly with CNC manufacturers on DFM, tolerances, fitment, production samples, and manufacturing issues.
• Designed assemblies where fit, compression, wear, sealing, and tolerance stack-up directly affected function.
• Developed RTV-molded silicone components using multiple Shore ratings for seals and mechanical interfaces.
• Developed a replaceable filtration assembly using activated carbon, HEPA media, nylon components, and molded silicone, working with suppliers on materials, prototypes, assembly, and production.
• Coordinated CNC machining, anodizing, laser marking, silicone molding, prototyping, and production with outside suppliers.
• Tested prototypes and production parts, identified mechanical and manufacturing problems, and revised designs based on the results.

• Grew up working around a family-owned excavation business and developed hands-on mechanical and equipment experience from an early age.
• Operated excavators, dozers, skidsteers, backhoes, graders, and forklifts for excavation, grading, underground utilities, demolition, environmental remediation, and general site work.
• Performed excavation and grading using site plans, elevations, and survey stakes.
• Supported environmental remediation and demolition projects while following job-site safety and material-handling requirements.
• Performed equipment inspections, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs.
