  • Working with start-up crew in energizing switchgear from 138 KV down to 220/120 Distribution Panels. Other Voltages include 34.5 KV, 4.16 KV and 480 vac. Checking Phase rotation, belling cables, and megging cables to ensure no issues arise. Repair and troubleshoot instrument and electrical devices, calibration and installation of such equipment.

Summary of qualifications

I worked in an LNG/energy/chemical plant environment for the past 50 years. Having started out as an instrument technician and later becoming an instrument supervisor for a general contracting company. My last position was as senior electrician at Cheniere Energy. Before that was Talen Energy. Next was OxyChem Ingleside Plant job title was Instrument & Electrical technician/planner, scheduler and also as step-up supervisor when needed. Also have been involved in a number of complete majors including rotor removals, combustion inspections and hot gas path inspections. Also three 138 KVA Transformers had bushing failure which resulted in complete Transformer replacement. Was responsible for interlock procedures for turbine sequencing and Duct Burner interlock procedure. Wrote analytical calibration procedures for Silica, Sodium, Dissolved Oxygen and other necessary analytical equipment for water purity.
