  • As a C-130 Hercules Communication/ Navigation technician, I maintained the integrity and structure of the aircraft through analyzing complex problems for efficient corrective procedures or maintenance modifications. Used bench equipment and test sets to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Used various pieces of test equipment, power tools, soldering kits, and tech data. Worked on the line and in the back shop. In addition, I coordinate with the production superintendent to ensure navigation and communication systems meet the minimum equipment list. I was responsible for Secret information and kept up to date record of inventory. At the same time, repairing navigation and communication systems to meet Title 14 Part 125.203 requirements.
  • Furthermore, I facilitate training requirements for airmen to ensure aircraft exemplary service for mission and organizational goals. Thereby, accomplished by ensuring airmen meet knowledge requirements in Title 14 Part 65.75. As well, integrated a database for the storage of maintenance activities and pertinent information in regards to aircraft airworthiness.
  • I have acted as a contributing specialist for the avionics manager for analyzing maintenance trends, collaboration with leadership to ensure accuracy of information inputted in G081 (aircraft database system). This was accomplished through the use of the G081 database to provide leadership with visual representation of aircraft status and airman training status. I also contributed in the reorganization and implementation of new policies and procedures in our unit. My ability to create an environment of effective followership through inspiration and trust has helped airman mold into productive assets through the development of working relationships as a subject matter expert.
