It looks like I have had many jobs in a very short time. I have enjoyed many of the jobs I have had. I have had extenuating circumstances that have led me to leaving certain jobs. As in I was promised a specific wage for jobs and have not been paid what I was promised. Also, I was lead to believe that in a certain amount of time I would be given a raise. I just wanted to let the reader of this application know that although it looks like a lot in a short time, there is more to me. I have learned things with every job. I have practiced many of the welding skills I have learned. I have practiced things I have learned and shared my knowledge with co workers. I have learned to troubleshoot many issues quickly. I can recognize problems and many times before anyone else is aware of them,
I have been able to use many of the things I have learned in my previous jobs to do the job I am doing now. I have been able to help teach my co workers at this job how to do drywall installation and finish work on it. It has been rewarding to me to know that I can help others and teach others things that I know.
I did measurments, assisted to build buildings, painted, cut lumber, and did digging. I did whatever the boss needed.
I used what I used at Tommy Vaughn's at the Ranch Hand. I worked the fryer orders, the flat top and the grill. I did general clean up and assisted any of my coworkers who needed help.
I was mostly a fry cook. This is someone who does the fryer orders. I assisted the grill/flat top cook and helped to plate all orders. I assisted wherever needed. If bussing tables was needed, I bussed tables. If dishwashers needed help, I jumped in to assist them. General clean up was also a part of the job.
I worked with another welder who did pole fence welding. I found this very interesting. I used different types of welds and maintained the equipment. I was able to use the training I had gained from school to perform the job. I was also able to utilize my safety training. I have also learned more on the job.
I learned how much I actually know when I worked for Jolara Lanes as an equipment, like the pin setters. I have done welding on various parts of the pin setters as well as other equipment. One of the things that I had not realized about myself was how easy problem solving is for me.
I worked on pinsetters at Pindale Lanes. I helped to keep the pinsetters clean and working well. I learned a lot about the equipment and how to trouble shoot problems.
