- Nuclear Medicine Technologist; I perform all of the duties a NMT would perform such as: Monitoring all doses coming/going into the hot lab. I also check all of the Radiopharmaceuticals into the computer. I am also responsible for injecting patients with the radioactive tracer, which consists of starting an IV or straight sticking the patient. I am also responsible for scanning all of the patients, making sure the patient is comfortable and for processing all of the films and making sure all scans are charged correctly and processed correctly and then all images are sent over to the Radiologist to be read. I have worked with the Toshiba E-Cam, Forte, Argus, GE, Symbia, EVO and Prism cameras.
