As a journeyman plumber/ foreman my duties include: layout, measurement, cutting, read and interpret blueprints, ordering necessary materials, conducting safety talks, coordinating work with other trades, inspect the crew's work throughout the day, attending meetings with General Contractor addressing all the issues related to plumbing such as approvals on submittals, perform work relating to installation of plumbing systems such as: rough-ins for domestic water piping, installation of domestic booster pumps, RPZ, soil, waste, vent and storm and fuel gas piping, installation of hot water heaters, sewage ejector pumps. Perform hydrostatic and air pressure testing of plumbing systems in accordance with NYC plumbing code. Request underground, rough-in and final plumbing inspections and fuel gas inspection as required by the project schedule. Set and connect plumbing fixtures such as: Water Closets, Urinals, Lavatories,Drinking Fountains, Sinks, Service Sinks etc.

Monitored job costing and prepared monthly reports, developed and maintained project schedules.

Assisting the mechanic in installing domestic water, sanitary, vent, storm piping. Measure, cut, and prepare pipe for installation. Install pipe hangers, supports, sleeves, help set and connect plumbing fixtures. Help troubleshoot leaks and plumbing issues etc.
