I’m a motivated and ambitious high school graduate with relevant skills and experience, seeking an entry-level position with an opportunity to develop new skills and contribute with existing qualifications. Some of my interests include reading; watching videos on life experiences, relationships, facts I should know, politics, study subjects, behavior analysis; playing sports; spending time with family; horseback riding; learning about nutrition and the human anatomy; and learning about finances.

• Food Distributor, 2012-2018, Some of the few things I had to often do were help out with putting the cans and dry food in bags, work efficiently so we could have everything ready by 9 am, work as a team, get the sweets in trays and distribute them, make sure everyone got a bag and a dessert, and make sure no one was skipping or causing any problems.
• Tutoring Through Generation Connected, 2020-2021, Through a school program, I’d dedicate some of my free time to tutor kids in elementary and help them understand their homework and their class subjects. I’d also keep in touch with the parents and update them on the progress, what needs work, and material that could help.
• Close Up – Environmental Justice, Educational Equity, & Housing Affordability, 2021, This was more of an education program in which we would share our ideas and have guests discuss economic problems. We would discuss our opinions and experiences as wells as ways people can improve such problems.
• United Way Youth Institute Program, 2021, This program involved discussing national and economic problems, emphasizing awareness and teamwork. We would have small projects we had to complete by the end of the day
• Community Leadership on the Environment, Advocacy, and Resilience (CLEAR) – Catalyst Miami, 2021, This program was a virtual program with the main purpose of educating us. Learning ways how to reduce one’s ecological footprint and improve the environment as well as discussing current issues regarding the environment and what can be done.
• Nyah Project, 2021, Great emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and learning. Had us learn and discuss the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and create a project that would promote and provide a method to achieve one of those goals. We would listen also to speak with special guest on leadership and their life experiences related to it and how we can work on growing and developing ourselves for the future. In the project, my friend and I would make sure to stay on top of everything. We would write notes of our conversation, bring up topics to our team, and make sure the team was keeping up and everybody was participating, etc.
• VITA Miami Tax Preparation, 2024, Working with people, collecting data, keeping everything confidential, and helping them with any of their concerns regarding their tax return.

VITA Miami Advanced Volunteer Tax Preparer
