I started with DOT right out of college, working in the field lab during projects. At the time mostly Gradations, Max Density's, and Field Density's were ran.
In 1995-1996 the FHWA and DOT started implementing the QC/QA. Materials & Research division had started with the Dickinson District along with Valley City and Fargo on getting the program working. I had worked with the a gentleman in Valley City on designing a Excel workbook that would be feasible for the QC/QA program.
I continued to be in the field testing labs till 1999, at this time I was promoted to Assistant to the Materials Coordinator. During this time I mainly completed the Impendent Assurance testing for the District.
In 2006 I was promoted Materials Coordinator and presently in this position.
