When i was in boy scouts i used to volunteer and i learned many things.

• Volunteered with groups and organizations to help make measurable differences for program recipients
• Supported engaging, fun and smooth-running events by helping with organization and planning
• Encouraged donations by supporting community fundraising events and campaigns
• Assisted program manager with planning and fundraising responsibilities
• Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to others

I mow lawns in the summer for people in my neighbor hood for extra cash.

• Maintained healthy lawns using tractor attachments such as mower deck and fertilizer spreader
• Applied weed and pest control chemicals to lawns, protecting grass growth and improving appearance
• Removed rocks and other items from lawn for mower safety and clean appearance
• Greeted property owners and other individuals on property to maintain friendliness
• Removed weeds, hazards and debris from common pathways to improve usability
• Removed grass clippings and leaves from property using blower

I worked in a fabrication shop for a summer which taught me how to show up on time and how to follow instructions.
