Personal Interest Statement
As a dedicated and driven nursing student, I am excited to have to opportunity to apply for such an educational, and insightful experience, that I would get from this internship position at, Franciscan Health. I am extremely excited to be able to further develop my clinical skills, and get hands on learning experience from a professional nurse.
Throughout my academic career so far, I have developed a solid foundation in core nursing skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and evidence based care. I feel as though this position will help me to be able to further expand on these skills, and get an understanding what the day in the life experience of a nurse really is. This summer internship represents invaluable opportunity for me to be able to get that experience. I'm confident that my strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and dedication to nursing makes me a good candidate for this position.
