Responsible for all breeding, parental line and hybrid trials on our 2.5ha hightech greenhouse location "Lion". Ensuring a good collaboration between our Farming team (crop care, crop trials, crop management) and our internal customers.

Team consists of 21 permanent workers and 5-35 temporary workers. Leading by example and ensuring conformity with our safety regulations and GSPP system.

Responsible for temporary labor and corresponding budgets (1,5 mln). Achieved tons of savings by managing the teams, improving data quality and smoothening of processes.

Assisting in maintaining our Quality management system on site. Focussing on continuous improvement and audit guidance. Also internal auditor (ISO/GSPP).

Supervising all tasks like sowing/markerpicking/transplanting/pollinating and harvesting in tomato breeding and parental line production (2,5 ha).

Work together with Crop care (crop maintenance) and Crop management (climate & water), to ensure maximum results in our breeding trials.

Guiding a team of 5 permanent workers and +/- 5-15 temporary workers. Leading by example and guiding all employees with the safety regulations and GSPP measures on a relatively new established site (2010).

People manager for 5 permanent employees, help them with their development and well being in their jobs.

Assisting in maintaining our Quality management system on site. Focussing on continuous improvement and audit guidance.

Also working in weekend/emergency shifts, and taking care of the crops during that time.

Supervising all crop-related tasks on 2,5 ha of tomato (breeding and parental line production).
