I was able to learn a lot about customer service skills, along with life-saving skills, that I can take to any career. These include:

• Supervised pool area to ensure guest safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicated with guests to address concerns
• Filled out incident reports detailing any accidents or injuries.
• Kept up with daily updates to supervisors and directors.
• Administered first aid when needed.

Gained extensive knowledge of HVAC industry while acquiring versatile skills applicable across various fields including:

• Soliciting job bids.
• Estimating prices based on blueprints.
• Communicating with distributors to receive quotes, estimating and writing proposals, and sending them to contractors.
• Assign PO numbers to jobs, and file them appropriately.
• Climb and walk on the roofs of commercial buildings to observe AC installation and removal.

• I spent a few days in Michigan shadowing and assisting the coaches while they set up, led, and monitored workouts both in the facility and in offsite locations.
• I was also able to observe the business and marketing side of the gym, as well as learn the importance of customer service.

My work experience started by working as a lifeguard for Blue Water Recreational Services and taught me many new skills including:

• CPR training and lifeguard certification.
• operate commercial pool equipment
• regulating and applying pool chemical treatments
• managing pool safety
• management skills when the pools were understaffed.
