Awards

With Half Price Books my (our) store won numerous awards that are still on display to the public at the Tacoma location for all to see. We often won more than one (sometimes 2 or 3) awards a year in the categories of growth, efficiency, customer satisfaction and bottom line sales. Our store rose to the number 2 spot in the country (out of 125 stores) and were only bested but the flagship store in Dallas, Texas (which was easily 5+ times our size).


I received several awards and appreciations from my time with Toy Rescue Mission. TRM is a non-profit in tacoma that serves needy children toys for all major holidays and their birthday. I became involved with TRM thru my book donation programs at Half Price Books and sat as a board member for TRM for several years. 


My Postal office has received a letter of accomplishment for our customer service and lead generation for new business clients.
