Loyal, hard-working employee with a proven track record with every past employer. At Reading For Education, I excelled in sales and operations. Recognized for exceptional work ethic and time management, I consistently achieved goals and led others in learning new operating skills on a specialized robotic lanyard machine. Skilled in hands-on tasks and communication, I am eager to use my talents in a role that aligns with my passions.
In my start at Reading for Education, I worked in shipping and receiving. Because of my strong work ethic and leadership skills, they chose me as the lead operator for a custom million dollar robotic machine created specifically for the company. Training for the new machine was completed by the engineers who designed it in Knoxville. I excelled at that position and led others through the complicated process of operating and maintaining the equipment while also striving to exceed daily output goals. Daily collaboration with team members and problem solving were key components of meeting those quotas.
After completing my eight-hour shift in the shipping department, I would train with the sales team for two extended hours. I had asked for the opportunity to learn a different aspect of the business. I enjoyed the challenge of cold-calling and even hit quotas and goals earning Fridays off.
I worked as a concrete laborer while in high school for two consecutive years. This is hard, intensive labor that tests your capabilities and work ethic, but I enjoyed the physical aspect of the job. I set forms to pour foundations and walls while ensuring that the footing would be at the desired surface flatness. This was a team job that required excellent communication skills with coworkers.
My roll was to assist with the installation of lights in residential houses. I worked on new construction, remodels, and service calls. I installed plugs, switches, recessed lighting, fixtures, and helped pull wire in the houses while ensuring the work place was clean and organized. I carry my stellar work ethic into each and every job I complete.
