I specialize most in teaching traditional debate. I am adept at helping debaters learn how to pick up a thread early in the round and carry it through for the ballot. Building a narrative was my greatest skill as a debater, and I enjoy teaching it to others. In addition to traditional styles of debate, as a coach, I have spent much of my time demystifying progressive argumentation. I am skilled in teaching debaters how to view progressive arguments, especially theory, as any other argument, while ensuring they hit every point on its structure.
