I have been fortunate to work in facilities across 14x states, and specialize in Stroke, Cardiac, Trauma, Oncology, and other Advanced CT Acquisition and post-processing. I enjoy being a CT Tech as well as an educator and problem solver. My passion has been connecting CT concepts to various audiences with equally varied experience levels, to assist Imaging Departments with finding solutions to problems they had been unable to solve, as well as make suggestions of ideas which might provide a more efficient scanning process and optimizing Image Quality to Dose balance to meet and exceed Radiologist specifications and providing better patient outcomes. There are many ways to build scanning protocols and perform patient scanning, and many different reasons Radiologists may request specific acquisition or output. Most importantly, I understand that the role of a CT Technologist is to attain the best images possible within the constraints of the scanner, the needs of the Radiologist, and the right of the patient for ALARA imaging. My goal is to join your Team and seamlessly identify and adapt to the role you are needing to fill currently.
Managed site training development plan and delivered onsite training for Hospital and Specialty Imaging Clinics in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Trained CT Techs in the development of scanning protocols and use of equipment for Cardiac, Stroke, Oncology, Inpatient and Outpatient scanning.
Developed dose reduction strategies with Radiologists using best practices for available equipment and adapted protocols using technologist feedback.
