I began to gain experience in working with children as a CIT at Camp Vilda, helping kids enjoy and learn about the outdoors. In a more education-oriented environment, I worked and volunteered at Congregation Rodef Sholom where I assisted with class lessons, kept order, and created a positive, enjoyable classroom experience. I applied some of these skills more recently while working one-on-one with a fourth-grade student, teaching her Hebrew reading skills to prepare her for her Bat Mitzvah.
Provided bi-weekly Hebrew reading lessons to a fourth-grade student for Bat Mitzvah preparation.
