Ben Pleasant is a coach, mentor, and performance specialist dedicated to developing disciplined, confident athletes who excel both in competition and in life. With a strong foundation built through collegiate playing and coaching experience, Ben brings a unique blend of leadership, skill development, and high-level basketball knowledge to every athlete he serves. A former collegiate player at Pennsylvania State Beaver in the USCAA conference, Ben was a leader of his team, known for his work ethic, accountability, and ability to elevate those around him. His playing career shaped his understanding of what it truly takes to compete, lead, and persevere at the collegiate level. The lessons he learned as a player continue to influence his coaching philosophy today. Ben further expanded his impact through two years of coaching as a graduate assistant at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he contributed to player development, scouting, game preparation, and daily program operations at the Division I level. Working within a competitive collegiate environment sharpened his eye for detail and deepened his commitment to building complete student-athletes. Throughout his career, Ben has worked with athletes striving to reach the next level, helping them refine fundamentals, improve basketball IQ, and develop the mental toughness required for sustained success. His training philosophy emphasizes discipline, consistency, and intentional work—teaching athletes how to lead themselves before leading others. More than a coach, Ben is a steady and trusted presence. He believes development is holistic—prioritizing mindset, resilience, integrity, and character just as much as performance. His mission is to help athletes build confidence through preparation, embrace adversity as growth, and carry the lessons of the game into every arena of life.
