Summary

I am a recent graduate of the North Carolina State University Master of Arts in English and Literature program. Along with my research in postcolonial and 20th century American literature at NCSU, I was a composition instructor for first-year students. Driven by my passion for sharing books, storytelling, and learning with anyone and everyone, I currently work as a bookseller and inventory receiver at Barnes & Noble. I read widely, across genres, but I am obsessed with novels about the post-WWII 20th Century. A few of my favorite authors include Ursula K. Le Guin, Viet Thahn Nguyen, and Thomas Pynchon. For the time being, while I take creative writing classes and adjust to my new life in the Chicago area, I am looking for bookseller positions at a locally owned bookstore in the city. That sounds like a dream!
