  • 2025 Season - 21-8 record. Most wins in school history, second 3rd-round playoff appearance in school history.
  • One player signed a college scholarship, with several others getting looks.
  • Winningest coach in the school's history.
  • Named Crossroads Diamond Classic All-Star coach.
  • 2024 season - 9-19 record.
  • despite losing two coaches during the season, a starting pitcher, and many starters from the year before, saw our team make the second round of the playoffs again.
  • A young, inexperienced team played an extremely difficult schedule, and still found success.
  • One player signed a college baseball scholarship.
  • 2023 Season - 15-11 record.
  • Made it to the second round of the playoffs and lost to the eventual state champion, East Union.
  • Two players signed college baseball scholarships.
  • 2022 season - 16-9 record, Region 4-2A Division Champions, 3rd round playoff appearance, first in school history.
  • Named the Starkville Daily News Baseball Coach of the Year in 2022. Chosen among baseball coaches in the Golden Triangle area.
  • The State Games of Mississippi All-Star Game coach for District 4 finished with a 2-1 record at the State Games.
  • Implemented the Driveline Baseball Throwing Program for the high school program.
  • This program has seen many players increase their throwing velocities by over 10 MPH in a year. Players have seen their arm health increase as a result of the program.
  • Pitchers, as a staff, threw 141 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched (2022), 185 strikeouts in 160 innings pitched (2023), 199 strikeouts in 178 innings pitched (2024), and 185 strikeouts in 164 innings (2025).
  • Create a data-based program for charting INF's, OF's, C's, P's, and hitters.
  • Charts allow us to measure whether players are getting better in certain areas of the game.
  • These charts helped our program field at a 92% clip in 2022, 90% in 2023, 91% in 2024, and 92% in 2025.
  • Implemented a regimented underload/overload hitting program, as well as a focus on getting on base to maximize run production.
  • Lead to a team batting average of .340 with 21 home runs, 6 triples, and 33 doubles. Team OPS of 1.015, 164 BB to 129 K ratio, 205 RBIs, and 97 stolen bases (2022).
  • Lead to a team batting average of .301 with 9 home runs, 6 triples, and 44 doubles. Team OPS of .851, 120 BB to 187 K ratio, 147 RBIs, and 85 stolen bases (2023).
  • The 2024 season saw a slight dip, but the 2025 season saw a return to previous numbers. Team batting average: .327, with 4 home runs, 5 triples, and 49 doubles. Team OPS of .897, 175 BB/HBP to 159 K's, with 146 stolen bases.
  • Implemented Rapsodo and Blast Motion technologies to achieve the best player development outcomes for all players in grades 7-12.
