Presently, I am enrolled in the Art History and Museum Professions program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In my education at F.I.T., I have combined my studies in photography with a concentration in fine arts. I graduated in May 2023 with an associate's degree in Photography and Related Media. As a photographic artist, I've always looked to the history of art and the stories within them for inspiration.
I find the relationship between history and photography to be utterly fascinating, and it's a dynamic I hope to continually explore throughout my artistic, academic, and professional career.
Collaborating closely with museum personnel, A group of peers and I curated a compelling gallery exhibition under the thematic umbrella of 'Through Restraint.' This showcase featured distinguished artworks by iconic names such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Robert Rauschenberg, delivering a cohesive and thought-provoking visual experience.
I helped initiate the creation and donation of artwork, alongside orchestrating art sales, with the purpose of fundraising for our community's National Art Honors Society.
I undertook the role of location scouting, photography, and photo editing for the feature article titled 'Purgatory' in the magazine 'Primadonna.'
I provided assistance to campers in achieving their artistic pursuits while also coordinating various social activities.
