• At the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic when we had to experience a national lockdown in order to reduce the spread of the virus, I had to shoulder most of the responsibility since I was the only Disease Control Officer stationed at the health centre. Also, there were days teams were sent from district to assist, especially when I was overwhelmed. Out of the 300 hundred people are tested, 34% of them tested positive. We adopted the test, track and quarantine method to help mitigate the spread. From my office, all positive cases are sent to the district and the people in question are sent to the quarantine centres. This made me earned the Presidential Honour for Distinguish Service.
