Since coming back to work at Mastec in June of 2022, I have been a Foreman on a feeder crew. My crew has mainly done feeder reconducts, but have also worked on jobs that include installing new services (single phase and three phase), installing new URD transformers and cables (single phase and three phase), installing three phase banks, replacing feeder switches, regulators and reclosures, we have also been a part of multiple hurricane relief efforts on the LCEC system. Also I have helped LCEC by supervising off system crews during Hurricane Ian, Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

As a Line Specialist at FPL I contributed to many feeder hardening projects, multiple storm relief efforts, installed new services, maintained street lighting circuits, helped to train apprentices and new employees and served on the joint safety team.

• Completed apprenticeship program in February of 2017
• Help to ensure safe work practices for myself and my co-workers
• Using proper cover-up procedures and minimum approach distances while working on energized lines
• Ensure proper phasing and rotation while working on 3 phases systems
• Checking all Personal Protective Equipment before starting a task
• Acknowledging that everyone on the crew understand their roll in the task at hand by using a tailboard or a pre-job briefing
