• At the Elk River Menards I did a lot of different tasks
• While in school, I was a sales associate and would help guests with product knowledge and store knowledge
• I then became a manager in the Plumbing, Wallcoverings and Front End to learn more about how the store was operated
• In management I had to delegate team members to certain jobs, do paperwork that was essential to my departments and still help guests with products
• Now, I do inventory control for the store and that requires me to pull pallets, make sure the inventory is correct and condense to make less pallets
• This is critical in store operation because accurate counts in the overstock lead to having accurate counts on the floor to fulfill guest's needs.
