• After joining Goodwill Industries I created more efficient working environment for my colleagues. This in turn increased our sales, production of goods, and store cleanliness.
• During my time as the JV water polo coach I turned a formerly bottom ranking team into the top team in our league. This effected the Varsity teams success years after I left.

During my time at CSU Channel Islands the expansive wilderness that surrounds the campus caught my attention. Through fieldwork, class projects, and personal endeavors I found species identification extremely interesting. Along with the time spent outdoors for identification, I developed an enjoyment for hiking in the chaparral around the campus. Recently, in the hopes to one day run a marathon, I have began to run and participate in long distance races.
