I have not been working for the University of Iowa Football Equipment team for very long, just a little over a month. I work alongside a few other college students as well, we work together every other day to accomplish whatever task is at hand. Whether it be fixing helmets, doing laundry, or organizing geer. We do it fast and efficient, while constantly finding small tasks to finish at the same time.
1. I absolutely love to workout, more specifically weightlifting. I generally lift daily, and I try to go early in the morning. It allows me to get up, move around and wake up. While at the same time relieving any stress I might have for the day to come, or from anything present.
2. I also love to fish
3. golfing is also something that I have started to get into as well
4. Playing cards is something I grew up as an activity with my family, especially during holidays or other family events
I studied Abroad in Greece the Spring semester of my Sophomore year, I absolutely loved my experience there. I made a ton of new friends, experiences, and learned about a countries traditions, culture and language. I took some Economics and Accounting courses while studying over there. These classes were super interesting, especially the Economics course. Being able to actually learn and understand first hand about how there economy works, and the history of it as well.
Getting to study with people who knew english very well, however it not being there first language was very intimidating. I had never felt like an outsider until the first few days of school and being with no other kids from my program. Especially in my Accounting class, I was the only American and everyone else around me would speak Greek the majority of the time, so this was almost overwhelming at times. But this was absolutely the greatest thing to happen to me, because it taught me networking skills, and often forced me to get out of my comfort zone.
