Benjamin Day is an exceptional personnel oriented and customer service focused individual. With training Benjamin has become adept at managing budget based goals, increasing overall quality of properties, and obtaining set P&L goals. These innate tendencies and training make Benjamin a qualified addition to any team.
As AGM I was expected to push Revenue and control of P&L of our brand, increase Guest Survey Scores each measurable quarter, train and create a cohesive team at our FD, BOH, HSK, and ENG. As well as deal personally with complaints of guest, reprimands of staff, locate sales leads, understand and use our market comp set to better our hotel.
As Night Auditor I was in place primarily for information collation; audit of sales, adjustments; customer service needs pertaining to check ins, complaints, disturbances, guest needs; as well as on site security in case of emergencies.
As Front Desk Associate my primary focus was the excellence of customer service. From check in to check out it was our duty to create an exemplary experience. Furthermore, I was expected to handle transactions throughout the day, help maintain the quality of the hotel, and assist the other departments if the need every arose.

To Whom It Concerns,
I have the pleasure of having Benjamin Day as my AGM at the AC Hotel in Downtown Huntsville, I had the opportunity of learning many things from him. I would highly recommend him in any leadership position, because he has all the qualities one should look for in a great leader.
Approachable: For one of the first times I didn't feel hesitate to go to a manger for any kind of problem. Ben is always willing and welcoming to assist myself and my co-workers with issues that would arise without making me feel like I was stupid, or in this "you should already know this" mindset.
Listens: It's really refreshing to have a manager that will actually listen to the issue, and listen to understand the situation instead of just listening to immediately respond.
Relateable: Ben always seem to know how to make things relateable. He took time to know each one of personalities and knew that how he would talk to one of us wouldn't necessarily work for someone else. He understand the fact that we are all differ`ent and would respond to the same situation in a different way.
Passionate: You can tell that Ben enjoys what he was doing. He genuinely listens to guest that had problems, and made sure that it gets fixed in not only timely fashion, but that the guest was happy with the result.
Everything and more that not only made him a great person, but a great leader.

Benjamin Day is absolutely the best person I have ever worked with. Ben was amazing during training. No matter what I always felt like he had our backs. Ben helped me out in any situation, extremely knowledgeable, and very willing to train to make us the best we could be. I would gladly work with him again in any position. He has the best personality and always made work fun, talked to us like we were people and never condescending. He let us know we were doing a good job all the time. Ben always went beyond the call of duty and was willing to do whatever it took to help where help was needed.
Thank you,

RE: Letter of Recommendation for Ben Day
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
It was a privilege to work with Ben Day for three years at the Franklin Shops in downtown Fort Myers. I have benefitted from his creative problem-solving and tireless work ethic as a valuable member of our team. He could always be counted on to prepare for special events, supervise, and tend to important details within the cooperative.
Ben has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages and constantly strived to achieve and then surpass any goals set, and worked as a morale booster for the rest of the team if things weren’t going as well as planned. I have no doubt Ben will make outstanding contributions to your team as well.
Beyond that, as his co-worker, I have to say that his humor and good nature made working long hours much easier on everyone. I have been proud to know Ben and know you will be very happy to have him in the Community Director position.
It would be my pleasure to answer any questions you might have about his specific skills and experience.
Thanks, and best regards,
