I served in the marine corps for 5 years, have done 3 deployments, 2 deployments with FAST (fleet anti terrorism security team) operating in Southern Asia with FASTPAC, providing site security, training with partner nations and acting as a 911 force for all embassy’s located within the Asian pacific region. As a junior marine I served as a team leader on my first deployment in charge of 5 other marines. During that time we carried out multiple site security missions as well as provided security for multiple high ranking officials. On my second deployment I served as an assistant patrol leader in charge of 12 other marines, carrying out high risk training exercises such as hostage rescue with an air insertion and multiple air raids. I then later changed duty stations and came to v1/7 suicide Charley and served in a machine gun section as their squad/section leader. I went to fast rope masters course in January of 2025 where i was the only one in my company to pass the course and where I learned how to safely and effectively get marines from the sky to the ground through fast roping. I then deployed with v1/7 on the 31st marine expeditionary unit where we were utilized as a show of force in the South China Sea.
