Work History

Graduate Research Assistant

Florida Institute of Technology
01.2024 - Current
  • Design and analyze cardiovascular 3D models for computational fluid dynamics to study cardiovascular diseases and implants. Work with a multi-departmental team to process and analyze over 200 different models to observe the multiscalar hemodynamic patterns in aneurysms, ventricles, and aortic regions. Additionally tasked with operating as an advisor to undergraduate students to design protocols and testing procedures to ensure that data from our experiments is in line with the physics that define our simulations.

Medical Scribe

Brevard Physician Associates
09.2023 - 02.2024
  • Documented complete information about examinations, treatment plans, lab results, and other details directly into charts to ensure that proper procedures and protocols are accurately followed and recorded
  • Verified accuracy of patient information and medical records to avoid discrepancies and maintain consistency.
  • Demonstrated confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information or records to comply with HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Manufacturing and Production Operative

Aerotek Aviation/Rockwell Collins
06.2022 - 08.2022
  • Produced up to 100 electrical components weekly for aviation systems using precise manufacturing and soldering techniques.
  • Examined produced materials and compared to documentation for accuracy and quality to ensure that they comply with GMP standards

Biomedical Scientist

Florida Department of Health
07.2020 - 03.2022
  • Analyzed and reported Covid-19 and other infectious disease data using MERLIN epidemiology software, identifying trends and informing public health responses.
  • Developed and optimized a training and data entry protocol guide to ensure that new employees follow HIPPA and DOH protocols
  • Processed over 1,000 different cases monthly ranging from individuals in assisted living facilities, people who have traveled, or those who were recently exposed to infected individuals
