I am a driven electrical leadman with hands-on experience supervising crews on commercial projects. At 19, I advanced quickly from apprentice to leadman by building a strong foundation in electrical systems, conduit bending, and blueprint interpretation. My goal is to grow into project management, where I can leverage my field expertise while developing a deeper understanding of the planning and execution of electrical projects. Being very passionate about the trade, I stay motivated by learning new skills and striving to deliver successful, efficient projects.
Supervised and coordinated over a team of electricians, ensuring time-management, safety and quality work.
Reading job specific blueprints, specifications and making sure work aligns with NEC standards.
Trained apprentices in how to install and maintain electrical systems safely, and efficiently.
Making sure material is ordered in the right amounts at the right time to continue project efficiency.
Collaborated with contractors and other trades to align schedules, and coordinate tasks.
Routing and install pipe, panels, gear and lighting control systems.
Installing, maintaining, repairing and testing electrical systems for commercial projects such as middle schools and daycares.
Set up and ensured generators were in proper operations with houses electrical system.
Following the project's schedule and deadline management.
Running and supporting conduit to NECs guidelines.
Installing electrical systems, conduit, panels, lighting and controls for hospitals and universities.
Traveling between two different cities and adapting quickly to each jobsite.
Expanded knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical systems, and learning the differences between average commercial projects and hospital sites.
Doing renovations at college TSU, included wiring and different types of gear.
Gained extensive hands-on electrical experience in a pre-fabrication shop environment.
Developed extensive knowledge on how pipe bending worked, to how electrical systems operated together.
Prefabbed electrical assemblies, including boxes with supports and pipes attached, to help turn field electricians to installers saving time.
Learned how to use a hydraulic bender to fabricate bends for field electrician.
Acquired knowledge of electrical theory, and different equations such as ohms law, differences of series and parallel circuits, box fill and how to calculate wire gauge.
