A daily routine consisted of coming in for what was usually 10-12 hour sessions daily and starting to brew coffees or clean lounging areas, always happy to do so and in the hopes that both the Audio Engineer (Kris Crummett) and the band (Bridge City Sinners) could focus on the overarching goal of getting their next full-length album complete. I had the pleasure of getting to assist Kris with an array of different tasks including vocal automation for the band CapStan, miking instruments and adjusting their placements, and exporting multi-tracks for the band Hail the Sun. Even getting to sing background vocals on the Bridge City Sinners album a few times as well. I gained a multitude of knowledge in gear, recording, and much more from this internship, as well as meeting and interacting with many band members and forming relationships over the course of my time with Kris.
