Benjamin Jarrell

College graduate with a double major in Disaster Management and Public Administration seeking a career in the Emergency Services field. Served as Lodge Chief of the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) South Florida Council Honor Society and a member of the BSA’s South Florida Council Executive Board, which provides the progaram to over 20,000 youth across Broward, Dade, and Monroe Counties. Planed and lead a volunteer eagle scout project to replace light poles at the Miami Springs Optimist Club. Provided leadership during the planning and execution of fundraising, volunteering, camping, and fellowship events that saw individual attendance of over 600 members. Planned the annual lodge leadership development training, which saw workshops that taught over 30 members leadership, planning, and management skills. Oversaw the development of the lodges budget, including the presentation of bids and approval of expenditures. Presented monthly reports to the honor society’s state level executive board. Facilitated the communication of information to over 600 honor society members through email and social media. Served as the liaison between the honor society and outside entities including local businesses, city governments, and other volunteering organizations
