Accomplishments

  • Supervised and mentored more than 12 personnel in The newly formed 3rd shift rework team. Although the production numbers were sometimes low, I can guarantee that the quality of the work was superior. This in turn lead to less rejected pieces and therefore improved the production percentage to a better level.
  • Improved inspection accuracy by adopting modern standards and technologies.

Wood working for 20+ years

Working with 90% reclaimed wood to build numerous projects from furniture to outside games etc. My knowledge of the wood I use is critical in making the best possible product.

Additional Information

Although there is currently not a plant wide quality control position. I fill I could be an asset at such position. Instead of each department having their own idea of quality. There would be a plant wide general consensus. This could result in fewer rejected barrels going to inspection. Fewer barrels barrels needing minor repair. The end result, I fill would be better numbers going to shipping.

With a constant training and working with the various inspection stations, we could all get on the same page to improve quality overall.
