My adopted daughter entered a Father of the year contest. Her essay was one of nearly seven thousand entries. Her essay was one of sixty chosen for additional questioning fathers. I answered ten questions about how I lead our family. Of the sixty chosen, ten were selected for a personal in home interview by the organization. From this in person interview I was chosen as Kansas City Royals Father of the Year 2002.
