I've had the opportunity to be a part of MANY high profile jobsites that required nothing short of perfection. Luckily, the two men responsible for teaching me everything i know about floors and finish were not willing to settle for anything less than perfection. I'm confident that my learning curve will be much steeper than the average new guy. I've been in countless situations that require every ounce of energy and strength I had. I'm punctual and professional. I take pride in everything I do in the workplace. I'm open minded and more than willing to learn more.
Concrete is fast paced and very demanding physically. I build forms, demolition, pouring concrete, as well as finishing the edges. The work is too dependant on fair weather and i need more security.
I pulled wiring and installed all different types of lighting fixtures. I also installed and wired various types of electrical outlets. Attention to detail was key and the standard was high.
My job duties were essentially the exact same that my previous flooring employer required. The only difference was that the environment was more structured and and bigger and the bar for quality was higher. I always met or exceeded that.
As the primary assistant to the owner/operator of Covenant Flooring my job duties were to sand or scrape any area that the 8" drum sander couldn't get to. I ran a buffer and applied both water and oil based poly. I learned how to effectively perform any and all duties related to residential flooring. The only aspect that I'm not 100% trained on is the drum sander.
