I started cooking about a year ago and I’m thinking I’ll be in the kitchen for a long time, I’m a quick learner and I’m levelheaded. I’ve done high volume cooking and I’d like to start moving towards high quality cooking. I take pride in what I do and I like to have a good time doing it
Woodward is a fast paced kitchen, during peak winter season we would rock a full board of tickets from open to close. I learned to feel totally calm while still busting out tickets moving a mile a minute. Nowadays feel confident in my ability to hold down any line.
Black Diamond is a small ATV and horseback tour company. Everybody would help out with everything so I was rarely ever doing just one thing. The tours went out to a remote restaurant where I'd grill for them and serve their food. In the main kitchen I managed a prep crew and managed inventory according to guest flow.
While at Park City I was the lead at the biggest lift we scanned at. I would organize break rotations for up to 8 people, deal with all the ticket issues, do crowd control when the line builds up outside of the maze and help give guests directions around the mountain.
